Polopit Lodge Facilities

The lodge, once stables, has been expertly converted into most comfortable accommodation. It is in a very peaceful location yet only one mile off the A14, the east coast to M1 arterial route. The lodge has been awarded a 4-star quality stating by “Visit Britain” (previously the English Tourist Board).

Entrance is via a large porch into the spacious ground oak-floored, open plan living area comprising dining and lounge areas complete with a large plasma television complete with Sky. There is a breakfast bar in front of the well ventilated kitchen prep / cooking with adequate work surfaces. All modern equipment. Dishwasher, sink, electric and gas oven/hob. American fridge / Freezer. Leading off there is a utility room with washing machine, combi boiler, then into self-contained shower room and WC. This can be complimentary to the double futon bed if used in the conservatory, with French doors.

Upstairs

The double bedded room has French doors onto the balcony and faces due south. The twin bedded room overlooks the paddock and the proprietor’s swim pool next door. Faces south east. The bathroom has WC, wash hand basin as well as self-contained pressure shower. There is a linen/towel cupboard.

Outside

A large electric awning can be projected out from over the French doors for use when sitting out in the garden to enjoy the rural views into the paddock and woodland.

Extra

As an extra, there are various menus for perusal in the lodge which can be prepared for you, by the proprietors, if required. Also menus from local Indian and Chinese Take-aways.
